Fillmore County’s commissioners had no visitors to entertain during its meeting on Tuesday, Aug. 4, but the board did have some regular housekeeping to do.
Recorder David Kiehne presented a request to purchase a wide format plotter printer for the Geographic Information Systems (GIS) office for a total of $3,495.
Kiehne cited the printer his office needed would be paid for out of the recorder’s allocated funds and would have a five-year warranty that would eliminate the need for a $395 annual maintenance fee, at least for the duration of the warranty.
The commissioners agreed to the purchase.
