Cold Calling

So I need to get better at cold calling, I was wondering if you all could share what you say when you walk into a business cold calling to find out about there copier needs and not get blocked by the gate keeper?

Lately, I've been using this. "I'd like to know how we can go about being an approved vendor for your company?" In most cases I get the name of the DM in charge. can anyone else chime in on this?
