MELVILLE, N.Y., Jun 16, 2014 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- At InfoComm 2014, Canon U.S.A., Inc., a leader in digital imaging solutions, will exhibit its array of REALiS Pro AV LCOS Projectors in booth C6332 at the Las Vegas Convention Center from June 18-20. Within this year’s booth, Canon will feature special hands-on product demonstration areas allowing attendees to view many of the Company’s latest advances in imaging and optical technologies.

The Canon booth will feature real-world applications highlighting the       impressive picture quality and installation flexibility of its renowned       REALiS projector models. Canon will be exhibiting a cost-effective,       space-saving solution for conference rooms where a REALiS WX450ST Short Throw Projector will be mounted under a standard conference room table, for wall-sized presentations without long-throw ceiling-mounted projection. A second short-throw application will showcase the extreme lens shift capabilities of Canon’s Pro AV Short Throw Projectors, ideal for creating engaging digital signage. At the front of the booth, two stacked REALiS WX6000 Pro AV Installation Projectors will project stunning 10-foot wide images from 35 feet away, showcasing the high brightness and outstanding colors reproduced by Canon’s projection lenses.

Visitors to the booth can also take advantage of Canon’s touch & try       section in which attendees can see first-hand Canon DSLR cameras, PIXMA PRO professional inkjet printers, and the EOS C100 and EOS C300 Cinema cameras featuring Canon’s innovative Dual Pixel CMOS Autofocus technology. Also on display will be Canon’s Security and BCTV camera products.

REALiS Pro AV Compact Installation LCOS Projectors

Canon’s latest projector series – the REALiS Pro AV Compact Installation LCOS projectors – are engineered to deliver excellent imaging performance in a compact design. The Canon REALiS WUX450, REALiS WUX400ST, REALiS WX520, and REALiS WX450ST, all available in both standard and DICOM® Simulation models, feature a trim design under 14 lbs., easy set-up, and sophisticated operational advantages intended for use in environments such as college lecture halls, corporate boardrooms, houses of worship, museums and galleries, and government monitoring facilities.

Allowing for space-savings without complicated setups, the REALiS       WUX400ST projector has a throw ratio of 0.56:1 and the REALiS WX450ST has a throw ratio of 0.57:1. The models include extreme vertical lens-shift capabilities (0-75% on WUX400ST, 0-77% on WX450ST) for easy installation in environments where the projector must be located close to the screen or in other challenging environments. These models also provide cost-saving solutions compared to complicated long-throw front projection setups that generally require expensive long-/ultra-long-throw lenses. The Canon REALiS WUX450 and REALiS WX520 Pro AV Compact Installation LCOS projectors also offer placement flexibility, equipped with a Genuine Canon projection lens and optical system that combine to deliver a constant F-Stop, helping to ensure virtually no light loss across its entire 1.8x zoom range.
