LAKE SUCCESS, N.Y., Sep 08, 2011 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Canon U.S.A., Inc., a leader in digital imaging, today announced the launch of the imageRUNNER ADVANCE C9075S PRO/C9065S PRO color multifunction systems (MFP). Developed jointly by Canon and Oce, the new series leverages Canon's revolutionary imageRUNNER ADVANCE platform and Oce's PRISMAsync controller technology to seamlessly integrate each component of the print operation to deliver the performance, productivity and versatility required to meet customer demands and deadlines.

The first imageRUNNER ADVANCE models to emerge from the joint Canon and Oce innovation pipeline, the imageRUNNER ADVANCE C9000S PRO Series is a versatile color platform offering end-users the ability to get more work done in less time through improved workflow and greater device flexibility. Similar to the imagePRESS C7010VPS, the imageRUNNER ADVANCE C9000S PRO Series models includes the Oce PRISMAsync controller fully integrated with the engine. The combination of the two technologies delivers a high level of productivity and efficiency within corporate printing environments.

"Canon is pleased to introduce the imageRUNNER ADVANCE C9000S PRO Series which demonstrates another step in the ongoing integration between Canon and Oce," said Junichi Yo****ake, senior vice president, Imaging Systems Group, Canon U.S.A. "This new series delivers a new level of workplace efficiency by harnessing the reliability and performance of the imageRUNNER ADVANCE platform with the industry-recognized intelligent workflow capabilities of Oce's PRISMAsync technology."

Offering extraordinary workflow capability, the Canon imageRUNNER ADVANCE C9000S PRO Series offers users key benefits including: a single, intuitive point of control granting users the ability to see a complete overview of production status at a glance to minimize operator training time and input errors; an intuitive job Scheduler feature that allows for up to eight hours of pre-scheduled production to accelerate job turnarounds by keeping the system running and avoiding device idle time; and full compatibility with Oce's PRISMAprepare for WYSIWYG document preparation and PRISMAaccess for internal/intranet/Web-based job submission to keep productivity flowing from job submission, design and composition through to production and delivery.

In addition to its robust output capabilities, the imageRUNNER ADVANCE C9000S PRO Series addresses customers' environmental concerns by minimizing its impact throughout the design and function processes. Each imageRUNNER ADVANCE C9000S PRO system includes high-grade, fire-retardant bio-plastic made from plant-derived materials and whenever possible, recycled plastics, while its compact footprint makes it an excellent device to augment fleets utilizing PRISMA software. In addition, Canon's award-winning platform enables low energy consumption and CO(2) emission levels while the efficient job-scheduling capabilities minimize idle time and energy waste.

The new imageRUNNER ADVANCE C9075S PRO/C9065S PRO color multifunction systems is scheduled to be available in September 2011 for customer delivery through Canon Authorized Dealers, Canon Business Solutions and Oce North America. For more information, please visit www.usa.canon.com .
