Canon to sell its USA headquarters?

Newsday is reporting that Canon is threatening to “close Melville (NY) headquarters if more tax breaks are not approved”

Would then have all of its employees work remotely in the area
Building currently holds 1,100 workers
A 10 year incentive package approved in 2007 for $35 million in taxpayer dollars is set to expire
Canon spent $500 million to build the complex and completed it in 2013
Company is asking for $7 million in tax breaks over next 12 years to remain in Melville, NY
