Canon reports large decline in sales/profits

- operating profit decreased by 18.7% to 32.9 billion yen
- net income decreased by 30% to 21.9 billion yen
- Office Imaging business sales down 9.4% to 397.6 billion yen
o sales of office MFP/copiers down 9.1% to 143,700 billion yen
 color MFP units down 13%
 b/w MFP units down 14%
 Laser printer units down 27%
o PPS/Wide format group sales down 5.3%
o laser printer sales down 12.8% to 141,400 billion yen
o inkjet printer sales up 4.6% to 68.7 billion yen
o income before income taxes increased by 2.4% to 47.3 billion yen
o expects next quarter to be even worse
