Canon offers new PPS options
Introducing two new modules for its imagePRESS C10010VP production color laser system
- Optional Sensing Unit Module offers:
o Monitor and adjust front-to-back registration
o Color toner adjustment
o Measures and adjusts prints on the fly
o Works with the inline spectrophotometer sensor that is in main unit - Optional Inspection Unit Module
o Monitors prints for issues and identify unwanted artifacts
o Affected sheets are diverted to escape tray
o Automatically reprints pages
o Can spot defects as small as 0.2mm in diameter
o Users can define up to 64 zones per page for inspection
o 9 possible levels of sensitivity - Either option requires the optional cooling unit to remove residual heat from sheets
