Canon has another security issue

Softonic magazine is reporting that some Canon devices have a new security vulnerability

The vulnerability allowed a security researcher to play the “Doom” video game on the color touchscreen LCD display on Canon Pixma color inkjet MFP
Hacker could possibly “obtain classified information, unique documents or launch a virus that would spread throughout the office”
- “could take control and continuously print test pages”
Canon has apparently issued patch to resolve the issue.
