Canon gives more details on new MFPs
The new imageRUNNER ADVANCE DX series, C7765i, C7770i and C7780i are color A3 models
- 4 tandem OPC drum design
- Use pO (precise output) polymerized toner for black and CV (consistently vivid) polymerized toner for colors
- Uses same engine introduced in 2015 models
- Advertised as offering 2400x2400dpi
- C7765i offers 65ppm b/w and 60ppm color
- C7770i offers 70ppm b/w and 65ppm color
- C7780i offers 80ppm b/w and 70ppm color
- 10.1” color LCD touchscreen
o Optional 10.4” LCD on armature
- Comes standard with 3,500 sheet paper supply
o Can upgrade to 9,300 sheets
- Auto duplex standard
- Handles up to 13” x19” sheet size
- Document feeder holds up to 200 originals
o Scans both sides of original at same time
- Finishing options include stapling, booklet making, cover inserter, folding and hole punch
- Built-in print controller:
o Actual maker unknown
o 10/100/1000BaseT and USB ports
o Optional NFC and Bluetooth
o Offers TLS version 1.3 security feature standard
(most other MFPs on market today use TLS version 1.2)
(most browsers being used by customers today use TLS 1.2 as most
have not updated yet to version 1.3, but this will be more common starting
in 2021)

TLS 1.2)
