Not The Ordinary Entry-level
Delivering 24 pages per minute copying and printing speed range are unimaginable for most entrylevel copiers. But Canon thinks otherwise. Its iR1024 produces multiple laser quality copies and printouts in as fast as 60 seconds. The iR1024 is also equipped to securely manage resources. With its Department ID feature, a maximum of 1,000 users can be assigned a log-in password depending on their workgroup. Administrators can then set page limits for prints and copies per ID. They can also keep track of the total number of copies and prints per department. High-quality color scanning is also within reach through the iR1024 series’ USB port connection. Alloting workspace is not a problem because the Canon iR1024 is designed for compact desktop use. For more convenience, an optional cabinet for the device is available. The iR1024 series is designed to have a separate toner cartridge and drum unit. This minimizes operational costs since the drum need not be replaced each time the toner is replenished.
Redefining Multiple Functionality
One of the most advanced solutions for laser copying is the Canon iR1024iF. Aside from quicker printing and copying, users can send scanned documents through the Internet, fax, and email. With a memory capacity of 256 pages, users can receive non-stop fax documents even if the device lacks toner or paper. Reducing PDF files of scanned documents is also possible with its PDF Compact feature which can shrink the file up to 1/10 of its original size. The iR1024iF also has a PDF Optical Character Recognition (OCR) feature which converts scanned documents to soft copies. The latter can be edited like regular documents. The imageRunner’s 600 x 600 dots per inch (dpi) scanning resolution assures users of quality scanning. Known for its energy saving feature, users can put the unit in sleep mode when not in use.
Network Copiers At Their Best
The iR2018N and iR2022N will be the benchmark of network copiers. Offering a copying and printing speed of 18 and 22 pages per minute respectively, both units are packed with a network scanning capability of 600 dpi. The copiers support Windows 2000/XP/Vista/Server 2003, Mac OS 10.2.8 and above, and Linux. Limited copying capabilities due to paper sizes won’t be an issue since both iR2018N and iR2022N support papers up to A3 size. The network devices are very easy to use thanks to the iW Management Console which offers centralized management through a single web browser. With this feature, simplified IT management tasks are now possible.
Superior Digital Colored Scanning And Copying
Canon’s iR3225 can scan up to 51 colored and black-and-white images within 60 seconds. Scanned documents are highly protected by a password. Users are required to register a password for every Encrypted PDF Send. This will be asked each time a user tries to access the file. The IR 3225 also supports direct connectivity with USB memory media. With this function, users can directly save scanned documents from the iR3225 to their USB memory media without the use of a PC. Direct printing from a USB media to the iR3225 is also possible. The iR3225 also enables users to replenish toner containers with new ones while it is still printing. Thus, it allows more device efficiency since there wouldn’t be any need for warm-up times. The iR3225 is also made to fit a greener work place since it consumes less than 1.0W of energy during sleep mode.
