NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Canon Business Process Services, a leading provider of managed services and technology, will offer two presentations addressing critical accounts payable (AP) topics next week at the Institute of Financial Operations’ 2015 Educational Conference and Exposition.
“Using Metrics to Drive Business Strategy in your AP Process”
The first presentation, “Transform AP from an Administrative Function to a Strategic Partner,” highlights how AP departments can become more collaborative and strategic (5/12, 9:30 AM‒10:30 AM, Daytona 1). The other Canon presentation, “Using Metrics to Drive Business Strategy in your AP Process,” focuses on the power of using analytics to identify areas for AP process improvement (5/13, 4:15 PM‒5:15 PM, Miami 1).
Executives at the Canon Business Process Services booth will also be on hand to discuss findings of the company’s research (High Performance Accounts Payable: Three Key Drivers to Success), which reveal three drivers of high-performance AP departments:
- Centralizing and standardizing the receipt of invoices and their conversion into ERP-formatted data
- Automating processes such as invoice discrepancy resolution and approval workflow
- Outsourcing part of the AP process such as invoice conversion or the entire process to achieve a higher level of performance over in-house AP functions
This year’s Fusion conference, one of the industry’s premier events, focuses on helping professionals discover the future of financial operations. The conference takes place May 11th to May 14th at the Gaylord Palms Resort and Convention Center in Orlando, Florida.
