Canon Branches To Be Closed

Wow.  News to me.  I think I'll reach out to a few of my CSA friends across the country...

Carl, that would be good to know. I don't anyone that works for CSA so if there's any feedback they've heard I'd be all ears. Quote honestly I'd like to buy their base and have an office party for another branch closing their offices....that's just me though. 

My disclaimer, if you will, is my Samsung rep and a couple managers who came to visit us today for a meeting mentioned that so I don't have any real facts other than the rumor mill.

I've heard nothing here in NJ, however I know someone in Jersey that owns a Canon dealership.  Not sure if he will talk to me since I beat of his reps in recent wide format opp.  What comes around goes around and one of his reps took an account of mine last winter.  Seems like all we do is steal each others accounts

I've worked for Canon (CSA) for a couple decades and I've certainly heard nothing of the sort.  Of course, after Ricoh dismantled the bulk of their direct sales operations, rumors like this will rule. 

As we know, some of the rumors come true and some don't. If those Canon dealers press hard enough, you never know.  Interesting to see if anything happens with this.
