Why would you want to do this? if you want a copy and you are scanning it into a 1022, why not make your copy on the 1022?

Good question, my customer wants all documentation scanned and then archived, however certain docs he needs to make copies of. Our cpc for the 1022 is .026 per page, our maintenance agreement for the AP3800C is unlimited clicks for $700.00 per year.

So he wants to put all of the clicks on the AP3800C, whether color or black. Do you have any ideas?

How do you get 0.026 cpc? What does your comp. sell it for? Around here it ranges from 0.011 to 0.017 amoung the others in this area for a 20-28cpm machine. I sell it for about 0.0135 and sometimes that is high.

I am also stumped on the .026 cpc! Our price ranges from .012 to .019, how da hell can you get that? I mean more power to ya if you can, but the competition around me is usually around that price also.

I hope the customer realizes that the $700 a year really doesn't cover a whole lot, since almost everything in the machine is considered a supply item.

I played around with a 220 once doing what you are talking about. The 220 had the ability to print straight TIFF files. I took a 350 with an Axis 700 scan server and plugged in the IP address of the 220 in to the Axis 700 as a destination. When I selected the 220 destination on the Axis 700 and scanned my document, it printed staright out on the 220. I don't see how to do that with our current stuff and our current software.
There are some fax programs that work this same way I think.
