Huntsville, AL – October 3, 2013 – Cabinet Document Management Solutions (Cabinet), a leading provider of document management software and workflow software for small and medium-sized businesses, has been tapped by the City of Newnan, Ga. to provide document management solutions in order to archive and process documents.
Located 30 miles southwest of Atlanta, Newnan is the seat of Coweta County and includes approximately 34,000 residents. Like most municipal governments, Newnan has a tremendous amount of paperwork and more than a dozen departments generating hundreds of documents on a daily basis.
After filling the basement of City Hall with boxes of paper files, Newnan administrators had had enough of the inefficient filing and archiving processes.
The solution? Cabinet SAFE.
“We needed a solution that would allow us to go paperless and eliminate duplicate files,” said Katrina Cline, City of Newnan finance director. “And we found that in SAFE.”
“After researching several document management software systems, Newnan found its solution in Cabinet SAFE,” Cabinet President Andrew Bailey said. “By partnering with Cabinet, the City of Newnan now has a centralized, searchable system that allows administrators to easily find the documents that they’re looking for … without having to visit City Hall’s basement and hand-sort hundreds of papers. That means improved efficiency, less opportunity for errors and the ability to serve the residents of Newnan more quickly.”
