We are looking to place a C900 to a location that needs to run DocuCopy Reinforced paper. The customer said that they had IKON try it and it wouldn't feed. These are edge-reinforced 20# or 24# paper and are reinforced to minimize the possibility of them tearing out of a three ring binder. Here is what DocuCopy says about their product:
"DocuCopy sheets are designed with a proprietary "indenting" process to provide excellent runability in today's highspeed digital equipment. The 9/16" wide polyester strip is laminated and recessed into the binding edge of the sheet. This creates a tough and durable sheet that is safe to run in all printers, copiers and offset presses."
The prospect is currently running these through a Xerox DucoColor 240 without any problem.
Does anyone out there have any experience with this?
