Kansas City, MO — Planned and hosted by the dealer volunteer leadership team of BTA Southeast, the Business Technology Association’s (BTA’s) Fall Colors Retreat will be held Oct. 21-22 at the Doubletree by Hilton Asheville-Biltmore in Asheville, North Carolina.

The event will feature a dealer panel moderated by David Ramos of InfoTrends, exhibitor round-table discussions and three general sessions specifically selected for today’s office technology dealers. In addition, the event agenda includes great networking opportunities — a private guided tour of the historic Biltmore Estate and dinner at the Biltmore’s Lioncrest Veranda on Friday evening, and a ****tail reception and dinner at the hotel on Saturday evening.

There will also be plenty of time to visit with the exhibiting sponsors during breaks and round-table discussions. Many of these exhibitors will hold drawings for great prizes during the event and dealer attendees can also enter the BTA Events Sweepstakes on-site.

The Fall Colors Retreat will begin at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 21, with welcoming comments and the dealer panel, “2020 — Outlook for the Office Technology Industry,” moderated by Ramos. The panelists: John Eckstrom, president and owner of Carolina Business Equipment, Columbia, South Carolina; David Polimeni, CEO of Laser Rite Document Solutions, Sarasota, Florida; and Tim Renegar, president and co-owner of Kelly Office Solutions, Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

A break and the first set of exhibitor round-table discussions will follow the panel. Breaks between sessions on both days will give attendees additional networking time.

At 5:45 p.m., attendees will depart for the Biltmore Estate, where they will receive a private guided tour and dinner at the Biltmore’s Lioncrest Veranda. Each attendee will also receive a ticket to tour the Biltmore during his (or her) free time on Friday or Saturday.

The second day of the Fall Colors Retreat will begin at 7:30 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 22, with a continental breakfast, opening comments and the first educational session, “Diversifying Your Revenue Stream With Water Systems,” led by Bob Tangredi of PHSI. A break and the second set of exhibitor round-table discussions will follow. The final educational sessions will be held after the round-table discussions: “Building a Managed Services Practice: Is Now the Time?” led by Dexter Williams of ConnectWise and “Your Sales Playbook,” led by Steve Rolla of Pros Elite Group. The educational portion of the event will wrap up with closing comments and prize drawings.

From 12:30 until 6:30 p.m., attendees will have time to explore Asheville and the surrounding area. This will be a great opportunity for attendees to tour the Biltmore Estate. At 6:30 p.m., ****tails and dinner will be served at the hotel.
