Italy-based graphics and printing services specialist Beepag has purchased Ricoh Pro T7210 UV flatbed printer, in a bid to enhance its production operations.
Ricoh Pro T7210 UV flatbed printer is a Greenguard certified system, which can be used in visual communication, cardboard, Point of Purchase (PoP) and industrial decoration applications.
With print speeds up to 100m² per hour, Ricoh Pro T7210 UV system holds capacity to print on one board or a variety of pre-cut panels up to 110mm thick.
Earlier, Beepag invested in Ricoh Pro L4100 large format latex system to be used for wallpaper and promotional items.
Beepag owner Matteo Pinzauti said: “After a careful analysis of the flatbed technologies available on the market, we decided to renew our trust in Ricoh by choosing the Pro T7210.
“We particularly liked its flexibility and the fact it can print beyond the market standard of 5cm thickness for media and handle media up to 11 cm - including wood, aluminum, glass, Plexiglas and cardboard.”
Beepag can use Ricoh Pro T7210 UV flatbed printer for cardboard applications, in addition to printing on doors and other furnishing components.
The company will also use the printer in visual communication, paper converting and PoP applications.

In October 2017, Ricoh Pro T7210 UV flat bed printer was launched for industrial decoration printing applications.
The printer, which focuses on industrial sector, can be used in glass, wood, aluminum composite and metal applications.
Ricoh Pro T7210 UV flat bed printer uses the firm’s advanced image processing technology and 12 MH54 series industrial print heads.
