With Auto CAD, will Auto CAD print to fit on a roll of 17 inch paper? I have a customer that prints an enormous volume of check plots onto "d" size paper. I was hoping to take this to the smaller size to save them money and time.

Autocad will print onto 17" paper. But I wouldn't recommend using the 470 to print that size. You would have to find a 17" roll of paper and that is an unusual item.
I had this come up with a vehicle manufacturer and they print an enormous amount of check prints in that size. We convinced them to use a connected digital copier (1022-1027-1035)because of the cost difference. $0.025 cpc(11x17) vs $0.196 per linear ft.(470 ems)
About a $225.00 per month difference in cost.
Sell em a 1022 with printing and postscript on a 3yr lease include 2,000 copies and save them about $75.00 per month.

Could you tell me how to print the check plots from auto CAD onto the smaller 18" inch roll of paper? Is it as easyt as just slelecting the roll size and then auto CAD will do the sizing?
