Atlantic, the office technology and IT solutions company, has recently acquired ACP Technologies, a provider of managed IT and cybersecurity services. While the amount for which Atlantic has acquired ACP Technologies remains undisclosed, this is the 177th technology M&A deal that ChannelE2E and MSSP Alert have covered so far in 2023.

Atlantic, Tomorrow’s Office was founded in 1959 as Atlantic Photocopy. The company is headquartered in New York City with over 336 employees listed on LinkedIn. Its areas of expertise include office technology and IT solutions, business equipment and technology, managed print solutions, records retention and compliance, professional services, and document management solutions.

On the other hand, ACP Technologies was founded in 1997 with its headquarters located in West Seneca, New York. It also has locations in Rochester, New York and San Antonio, Texas. With only 29 employees listed on LinkedIn, ACP’s areas of expertise include managed services, backup and disaster recovery, unified communications and VoIP, cloud computing, network security solutions as well as hardware and software.

Following this acquisition deal by Atlantic which marks their ninth acquisition to date; they have rebranded ACP as “ACP Technologies – a division of Atlantic.” This move shows Atlantic’s ongoing efforts to meet the IT needs of growing businesses across major markets nationwide.

Larry Weiss – CEO of Atlantic expressed his excitement about welcoming ACP to their family saying that joining forces is an immediate win for both organizations. Larry further added that Ben Pearce (CEO of ACP) shares their core philosophy of customer-focused service delivery while doing a great job growing his business organically. He believes that providing additional resources will expand their potential immediately.

Benjamin Pearce also expressed his excitement about their new partnership with Atlantic stating how amazing it is working with an experienced team who are aligned with their culture goals objectives.
