Has anyone else seen this?
Printing to a Ricoh 04 series device.
I bring up the image on an ipad ( I also test my iPhone ), I go to the print center bar and then select air print. Air print then shows a preview of the photo or screen capture. The image is printed and one side of the image is cropped or not there. Could not figure out what was going on.
After many prints, and not luck I gave it one more shot. For some reason I hesitated the press the print icon. I then saw the image change on the screen and it was identical to the cropped images that were printing. Thus Apple was changing the image before it went to the print device.
It was a real bear there for awhile since the client was adamant that the previous print device printed fine and there never was an issue. But the client and I saw the image change. He asked why the other device did not do it, the only answer I could offer up was that his apple devices have gone through a few updates and maybe one of the new updates changed the way Air Print works.
End solution was to install the Ricoh print/scan app and all of the images printed perfectly. In fact the client likes the Ricoh app better than his Air Print.
Has anyone else ran into this issue? I also had the same issue when using my ipad and my iPhone.
