Ricoh AP 2100 Print problem

I recently obtained a Ricoh AP 2100. The printer is connected via ethernet to a Airport and I am running a Mac w/ OSX wireless. Using appletalk I am able to print but I always get (4) duplicate pages of the same document with every print job. I have checked all setting, reset the printer, and downloaded latest drivers. Any suggestions.

Ray,

does this printer print properly from a different PC?

can you send a simple print ready file to the printer and check if that prints one or multiple copies? (that way we can rule out CUPS and the driver)

depending on your environment you should be able to send the file to the printer by any of the following methods (provided TCP\IP connectivity is there)

from Windows --> use lpr -Sipaddressofprinter -Ptext printready file (can be text)
from UNIX\Linux\OSX command line -->cat printready file |telnet ipaddressofprinter 9100 (provided your printer is configured for 9100 check webinterface or via telnet)
you can also create a "RAW" queue (meaning not using a driver) in CUPS (use webinterface at [localhost:631])
use lp -d rawprinterqueuename printready file
or try sending the file on your existing queue using "raw" command line option

i attached a sample 2page pcl doc for you.
