Ontario based technology leader Advanced Office Solutions (AOS) announced Friday that it had hired Tom Oldfield as President.

Oldfield, most recently Vice President & General Manager for Xerox Canada Ltd., assumes the role immediately. At Xerox, he led the Great Lakes Midwest region with accountability for all Xerox operations in Manitoba, Northern & Southwestern Ontario.
Prior to that role, Oldfield served with Xerox Canada as Vice President, Graphic Communications. Tom enjoyed a 29 year career with the Xerox Corporation in a variety of senior leadership positions before joining AOS.
Owners Harry Erskine, Geoff Polecrone & Dave Shaw will remain involved in the operations of the company.
"Tom understands the evolution of the Technology & Managed Services industries and the challenges our clients face," Erskine said in a press release.
"Our clients & our employees have built AOS into a position of strength," added Polecrone. "Tom will leverage his experience and our strong position in the market to help clearly shape our growth opportunities and implement our strategic direction."
Also announced today as part of the structural evolution at AOS:
- Chris Petis assumes the role of Sales Manager - Managed Print Services
- Simone Upham assumes the role of Director - Technology
- Mark Hirte assumes the role of Director - Sales & Marketing
- Harry Erskine assumes the role of Vice President - Technology
- Geoff Polecrone assumes the role of Vice President - Finance
- Dave Shaw assumes the role of Vice President - Sales & Marketing
