Unconfirmed, yet it sounds like Canon is going to utilize this to go after any Ricoh box in field, regardless of where it was sold. If so, this could be crippling and it makes one think they are having a tough time grabbing IKON upgrades.

it sounds to me like a company reacting rather than having a proactive approach. They got caught with their pants down and are throwing things at the wall to see what sticks.
