I have an AP3800c that I screwed up and did a memory clear on it.
Now I have to reprogram sp2-109-2 & 3
and sp2994-1 thru 4
Problem is, I can't find the stickers on the laser optics housing with the values I need.
I've pulled the output tray and I can see the top and most of the sides but I can not find the stickers like are described in the manual. This is my first Ricoh, I normally do HP so please go easy on me
I am praying that I'm missing the obvious somehow and that I won't have to pull the laser unit (like in case the stickers are on the bottom)
I found the SMC report in the door and reset everything back to the values that it was set to when that report was printed. On the SMC report that was in it, I see the values for the above settings and I *have* set them that way but it didn't help, so I'm wondering if the laser optics unit was replaced at sometime, I dunno, I'm grasping at straws here.
Problem I'm having is color registration is gawd awful and all attempts to correct it by me have failed. I'm sure it's just me, like I said, this is my first Ricoh and it's a little alien to me.
I'm starting to get the hang of the manual and nomenclature and have done some pretty extreme cleaning on it, it was badly fouled with fuser oil and old toner. It's only got 20k on the counter so I doubt it's worn out yet, should be far from it still.
I sure would appreciate any help on this, this thing has been eating my lunch.
At least one thing is for sure, by the time I get this one going I'll be intimate with it. :/
