7030D Odd situation. . .

I have one of these in the field that has an intermittant error. Sometimes, after it makes a copy, it continues to run with the Op panel displaying "Image Process". It will run until shut off.

This doesn't happen all the time, everyting else seems OK.

Has anyone seen this before?

What the printer is trying to do is balance the toner value to the deveolper value set in sims of the printer. Image process usually happens after printing a number of pages that have large solid areas. The cause can be from a dirty toner sensor. Maybe you should change the developer and re-initialize the new dev. and the message will go away
