Consolidating print servers fully is still a rather new phenomenon. Although Cirrato specializes in doing precisely that, and has done it for over 60 large organisations to date, many organisations out there are just recently finding out that it is actually possible to fully consolidate print servers.
So in this blog post, I’m going to write about the 7 biggest benefits of doing so for large organizations. Let’s start with one of the more obvious points:

With only one server controlling all printers in the organization, all the data and all the control is gathered, processed and exercised centrally. This makes print management really easy for large organizations and opens up a whole new world of control and strategic decision making possibilities. Which brings us to our next point.
