Does anyone know where I can get a

410604 - Print Controller Type 700
410609 - 8.5x14 tray kit type 700

I would greatly appreciate it.

Which brings up another question, has anyone had a customer that the print controller went bad, how does a tech replace what we cant order? Do they have to buy a new $10-$20k machine to replace a $2k option? Obviously the reason I am looking for these options is for an off lease piece of equipment I have sold (trying to make a lil x-mas money if ya know what I mean), but I can't track them down.

Normal techs can order repalcement parts by part number not edp code. We have order specific options via part number in the past. Pricing may be different (usually Higher). Good luck.

The 1055 controller is supposed to work on the 551. ... this according to Lee and our Ricoh area service manager guy.

Greater Philadelphia Equipment Co. sells accessories for discontinued models. They have controllers and NIC's for the 551 for $1,295.

You might be able to trade leftovers you have lying around.

Don't rule out the possibility of buying a used 551 with everything. I see one available with under 400K for $4,650. Add $1,000 for shipping and Reconditioning. Remove the controller for this deal and recoup your cost in the sale of the rest of the unit.
