470 MAC OS 9 plotting | Print4Pay Hotel

We are having difficulty gettting a 470 (version 3.1)to print from a MAC OS 9. The directions we keep getting from Ricoh don't work. Has anyone had experience with this issue?

What operating system are you using? Some OS you can activate MAC printing. I know the 240 comes with a MAC driver.

He said he's using OS 9 for client, Plotbase server must be XP or 2000 pro.

First, how are you setting up the printer? I have not read the directions for Mac install, but I assume you would use "Desktop Printer Utility" to setup an LPR printer. The IP address is the IP of the machine, the Queue is the exact share name of the printer.
