240W problem

Is that to PRINT from or copy from. If it is only to Print from, that may be a function of the server and you might have a solution as simple as shutting down the unit and the PC then bringing the 240 back up THEN the PC.

I had a similar problem on a 470W and that solved the issue for me. Just a thought.

System has not yet been connected. Tech tens to think the machines "lost" the software settings.

The tech needs to check SP-1960. A setting of 0 will tell the machine that only the bypass is available. If they have 1roll feeder it should be set to 1. If they have 2 roll feeder it should be set to 2. If they have one roll feeder and paper cassette, it should be set to 3 and if they have 2 roller feeder and paper cassette it should be set to 4.

The machine will not auto detect accessories, you have to tell it what it has.

Thanx for the info, the one system "lost" the settings after the system was delivered and working for a few days.

We have correcting the settings by doing a "cram". This is what I was told by my SE.
