I don't see the mailbox cs360 as an option with the 2045 or 2045e. Does it even work with these models?
I have been told "no". As the architecture changed.

We have been told that it is possible to modify a CS360 to 2035e/45e (NOT 2035/45)
I think this is caused by the demand for a physical mailbox, from especially scandinavian users.
If you use the electronic mailbox, the user waste a lot of time waiting by the machine.
You can order a kit from RICOH for the CS360 that modifies connections, firmware, etc.
It works ok, except for some small details, like the color; AF350/450 brown-greyish

You need special drivers and firmware. The eprom supplied with the mailbox are NOT used.
