Lost a sale due to the wireless interface, we had never done one before. Customer was not impressed, plus the control pcb failed in the first few days in a trial demo.

I have had good success on wireless, by hard wiring the router to the mfp.. Then using the wireless cards at the workstations.
I haven't done a wireless setup, but for network, it was plug and play. I did have a problem the last time when I could not access the printer from the control panel. It showed up on the network and could print, but the 1515mf would not see it. Come to find out, the firmware card was not properly seated. It evidently had come loose during shipping.
I understand that there is a nation wide problem witht the fax board going out on these machines. we have had 3 go down recently. Any one else seen this problem?
Where are you guys getting the 1515's from? We have wait about a month and a half to deliver any we have sold. I guess that takes care of demos. We have em sold before they hit our dock.
Savin has the 3515MF's in stock. I haven't had much trouble getting them. I have had difficulty getting the AC104's like everyone else. Unfortunately, when the customer can't wait anymore and is threatening to cancel the order, I have had to call Carolina Wholesale to get one. Funny how Ricoh still supplies the wholesalers first before the dealers.
