Does anyone know the procedure for setting up password protection on the 'attach sender' part to scanning to email on the 1060/1075?
It would not be good for someone to scan something inappropriate and send it with a president's name as the sender.

You can do it both from the keypad and from a computer. I prefer to use SmartNet Admin.
Install SmartNet Admin
Single click (Select) the 1060/1075 in the window
Look under Tools and Select Email Management
Password is password
Here is where you can add users to the machine. (Not sure of the exact steps since the company won't let me have a 1060 at the house.)
Add a user, select email and you will see the place to put in the password.
When you are finished adding users, upload to the machine and you now have your users programmed. You can program up to 2000 email addresses. This also allows you to upload the same list to multiple machines as well.

Thanks!
Lee
In reply or rather addition to Lee's post, when you are adding names (users/destinations), make sure you back up all the info as a CSV file prior to uploading to the machine. If the machine is in use when you upload, all data will be lost. If you saved it, then you can re-upload when the machine is not in use. (This info was brought to my attention by Graham during and install yesterday. Thanks Graham!)
