I have a Real Estate company with a 1045. I will list below his email to me regarding the printing problem he is having.
"This is sort of a continuation to a seemingly resolved issue from about a year ago. It involves the 1045 upstairs here at our office. Back then, an agent tried to print a document from a contract-writing software called AutoContract to the 1045 using the RPCS driver. Nothing came out. And no 'working' light and no error on the agent's WinXP PC (found that Win98 didn't have this problem). Yes, definitely weird. We the tried using the PCL driver and it worked.
Since getting a new WinXP PC, another agent is having a similar issue now.
No response when trying with the RPCS driver, and when the PCL driver is used, it works, but very slowly. A 3-page document spits out each page about a minute apart. In the printer properties, I changed it to start printing only after the last page is spooled, as well as for it to print directly without spooling at all. Neither of those changes made a difference. Then I reinstalled the PCL driver, but still no change.
Any ideas?"
If anyone has a suggestion, I'm open.
Ted
