Ever since I saw the name Nozomi I was curious where it came from. I found this on wikipedia Nozomi ( Japanese : のぞみ , lit. "Wish" or "Hope," and known before launch as Planet-B ) was a Mars orbiter that failed to reach Mars due to electrical failures. The mission was terminated on December 31, 2003. Honestly, it was when I walked in the door for my first interview. I remember the individual interviewing me mentioning that they sold Ricoh equipment, & the only frame of reference I had is that Ricoh sponsored the "Call to the Bullpen" on MLB games at the time. Before I got into the industry, I could not make a straight copy on the first try if you paid me, because I never thought to use the document feeder & could never get the original lined up on the glass. nice job Larry. One thing I'm finding is that many of my first level contacts will have no clue about some of their connections. I have called and asked about other first level connections and most know recognize the name. I guess it's some type of Linkedin failure. Another item I've found about Linkedin is that many "C" level execs don't post their own threads. Someone in marketing is doing that for them. Linkedin is a great source for knowing who may or may not be connected to someone.

So some clarification first. PaperCut absolutely does support Mac. In fact, it is the only cost recovery/print control solution that I know of that actually installs in an all Mac environment. (Server and Client) It also is the only solution I know of that installs in a Linux environment. So both of your issues are solved with PaperCut. I included the install guides for Mac and Linux to get you started.

Use a router to create a mini wireless network where the copier is the only thing connected. Velcro the router to the back of the copier. Name the router's wireless Copier. Plug router into copier with patch cable. You can get a wireless router on-line for less than $20 these days.

I know this is 3 weeks old but the reason that you can not send through Comcast e-mail server is because they are securing the server. Look in the customers e-mail settings in Outlook to get what you need. It is under Authentication and not all MFD's are capable of this. POP Server: Requires SSL SMTP Server: Requires POP before SMTP, port 465, and authentication of POP before SMTP or just authentication of just he name and password. Hope this helps.

Yes Jason you can remove every piece of paper the requires a name and address even in a state that you have to carry a registration. You can hold onto the registration but remove the name and address. If you are pulled over to show registration you have the right to tell the officer why you removed the name and address from the registration. Then you can show them a drivers license that will have the required info they are looking for.

Correct, short CAT5 cable from printer to wireless print server. Best to put in a static IP into the machine, otherwise, you'd have to print to the hostname of the printer and have something doing local DNS to map it from the name to the ever-changing IP. You shouldn't need to do anything at all with the router. Just make sure your IP for the printer is in the same range as the PC. for example, the PC's IP is 192.168.1.1, you could make the printer 192.168.1.44 For small home networks, it's...
