Using chatgbt for researching ink usage and costs

Art Post ·
doing the research today for an HP T630 for ink, and print head costs. I asked response The amount of ink used for printing a 24"x36" wide-format construction drawing can vary based on several factors such as the print quality settings, the complexity of the drawing, and the specific printer model. However, there are some general estimates available. On average, for a black-and-white construction drawing, it is estimated that approximately 1-2 milliliters of ink is used per square foot .

I've worked with HP large format printers for years and for your average 24"x36" construction drawing you can expect around one third of 1ml in ink use. Also on this model you can get an 80ml black ink as well which will be cheaper per ml.
