Ricoh makes the SP C842DN and it's a beast. Works day in day out with little service intervention. Here's the link https://www.ricoh-usa.com/en/p...r-printer/_/R-408106 Sharp or Brother does not offer a stand alone 11x17 printer?

It has to be laser and heavy duty like that Ricoh you’re talking about. Brother has inkjet and Sharp has small stuff. They are expanding the department so volumes will go up. So it has to be heavy duty

So some clarification first. PaperCut absolutely does support Mac. In fact, it is the only cost recovery/print control solution that I know of that actually installs in an all Mac environment. There does not appear to be opposition to the deal either from European regulators or Océ board members. I tend to agree with the notion that Imagistics won't change much on the short term. They will have Canon added to their mix but the Oce's will still be there. This acquisition isn't like buying a Global or an IKON. Canon acquired a manufacturer with it's own manufacturing and R&D. Over time the lines will be blurred but not for several years.

No R&D dollars here...Same as previous series. Same consumables, no standard keyboard and a 600MHz processor vs. the 1250MHz processor in previous series (2610, 3310, 3610) End of Lease feature was also present on previous series. Kill the keyboard, slower processor, reduce the price. Sounds more like marketing than R&D.
