SSG that's an awesome video! You can send links to clients, and direct them to your channel. It's a virtual demo that keeps on giving. Kudos I have some of the same issues with getting appointments through Linkedin, however I know of several peeps that use Linkedin as their only source for prospecting and they are doing well. We generally do not build in prepaid copy/ print blocks into our leases. We do give away free copy prints up front but only intended as a short term bonus. We do normally charge a $25.00 minimum monthly maintenance fee but have waived that until the economy rebuilds momentum. I am in Canada, lease vendors are currently offering 90 day payment deferrals added back on at the end of term for those customers who request them. Leases expire every month and customers are happy with the equipment...

Is it just me, or does West McDonald look like Wolverine? I watched the Seat-Based Billing video that was posted from the Top 100 Summit. Definitely some interesting points going back and forth. Print Audit has done a great job of persistently marketing seat-based pilling to the copier industry.

Got it, what we use is an exit tray that is sold by "Copier Solution Shop". The new exit tray will allow "e" size documents to exit to the front of the W6700 and they don't have to use the rear exit. I believe it will stack 50 or so. All of my clients love and their has never been a complaint. Here's the link https://www.copiersolutionshop...put-tray-rot-1.html, I will check for a video. I thought I posted one in the "pic's" section of this site.

Certainly not to come across as a conspiracy theorist (although that can sometimes be fun, too), but didn’t the video show that return shipping paperwork was lying on the platen glass on at least one of the copiers purchased? I wonder how many copiers in that NJ warehouse have shipping paperwork attached or simply lying under the ADF. Wouldn’t an identity thief looking to purchase a copier be able to browse the NJ warehouse looking for shipping paperwork from financial institutions and...

I see these types of products making a serious impact on our business. From what I see from the video, I can't remember ever seeing a color laser that would be able to output documents that fast, especially with the envelope output. It's the tip of the iceberg with probably faster products to come down the road. Potential Users: Churches Colleges CRD's Print Shops Anyone else care to add to the list of potential markets?

I don't know what Ricoh's opinion would be on this (don't really care) but we accumulate licenses and then distribute them strategically. I sold a single license last week for $350 and charged an additional $150 for client PC install and limited training. Since we have no cost, my company counts it all as GP. I quoted a C300 and said we would include a PPDM license for free if they bought two C300's. I am able to provide a value-add at no cost to me. C300 doesn't come with PPDM but it can if...

It wouldn't come from Ricoh. We got them from GBC. In the environment that you describe, the ProClick is really for binding the pages that were punched by the Ricoh with GBC StreamPunch. Just like a 3-hole punch option, you still have to take the pages from the MFP and put them into a 3-ring binder. The P3000 is the device that applies the binder to the punched sets. Yes the P3000 does punch but mostly just to get special front and back covers punched. Attached is a video of the P3000 in action.

When you say "this system" what system are you speaking of? I've had one customer call with problems locking up on a 480w. Called Ricoh and they said something to look at was RAM in the PC. Another thing that came up was Video Cards, you know the new ones (unless you get a good one) all use "Shared Video Memory" which means it steals the RAM from the PC. So if you have 512mb in your PC the Video Card could be stealing 128 of it, leaving you with only 384. I'm upgrading this customer to 2GB...

Did The Canon Copier Cause The Fire? The fire started in a locked storeroom. It destroyed the video rental store in a St. Paul strip mall and damaged three adjacent buildings. An employee of the video rental store had set the Canon copier (located in the storeroom and serviced one week prior to the fire) to make 80 copies before leaving the storeroom while the copying was in progress. Several hours later, the security alarms activated, the fire in the storeroom was discovered, and the store...

All you have to do is look at the competitive analysis (See Attached) between the Ricoh C4503 and C6502 against the competitors from Canon, Xerox, and KM to see how much of a difference True Adobe PostScript makes in the printing speed. Emulation machines are noticeably slower, to the point that you could argue that a lesser Ricoh needs to be proposed in order to compare accurately.

That means American pricing has flooded the rest of North America, where $1000-$1500 in GP in a commercial street deal seems to be the norm. To increase my closing ratio in...
