Re: Ten Reasons Why the New Ricoh IM 350F, IM 430F and IM 430Fb is a Winner
Slight correction...both the IM 430F and the IM 430Fb are 43 ppm. Additional info...the 430F (SP 501) has a Service Maintenance platform while the 430Fb (SP 502) has a User Maintenance platform. The SP 510 and SP 502 are printer only versions of their respective MFP's. As far as I know, the SP's and the IM 350 (350F without a standard fax) have not been launched yet. It is interesting to note that the service training does not reference the MP 301SPF or the MP 402SPF at all. The new IM units...

Ten Reasons Why the New Ricoh IM 350F, IM 430F and IM 430Fb is a Winner
It's been sometime since Ricoh introduced the MP 301 (A4 black MFP 30ppm). Five years is a long time to hang on to a model, especially when A4 devices are being introduced left & right. There's a new kid on the block of A4 devices. Ricoh is now offering the IM 350f (37ppm), IM 430F (43 ppm), and the IM 430fb (45ppm). All devices come standard with copy, print, fax and color scan. Anyone can get the speeds and feeds on these devices, but I wanted to dig a little deeper and express what I...

Re: Dual vs Quad CPU
You will not find anything showing the 651 is a superior solution because it is not. The C7010 will outshine the C901 in many areas. The C7010 has dual fusing, media upto 325gsm, gloss optimization, air suction feed with air assist and separation for all media trays, better paper handling, greater media capabilities, create larger books with the perfect binder & saddle stitching plus an in-line UV Coater. So you will have a challenge on your hands.

Re: Why not 6 or 8 color laser toner systems?
Océ actually had a color system with CMYK+RGB colors. It sucked. If you look at the color quality coming off the best machines (Canon C7010/Ricoh 651EX for example), the quality is superb, no real need to improve as it is very close to photographic/press quality. As daninsun pointed out, I think we've reached the point of "good enough". People may be willing to pay more to get the quality of the 651ex but I doubt they'd be willing to pay 5 times more for that extra 2% increase in quality.

Ricoh - IM C300(F) & IM C400(SR)F Spec Check Review
It's been a couple of weeks since these new color IM C A4 MFPs were launched the Ricoh Europe web site. At this point in time I have no clue when they'll be available in the United States. I would suspect they'll be available as soon as the current inventory of MP C307s and 407s are exhausted. For me, they can't come soon enough. For too long we've been without a color A4 devices that will staple. I had hoped that both the C300 and C400 would be capable of stapling, however at this point...

Re: Ricoh - IM C300(F) & IM C400(SR)F Spec Check Review
Again why would they not have put a 500 sheet paper feed drawer on the new device? Every other manufacturer with their A 4 device comes standard with the 500 sheet. Someone needs to tell Ricoh that a ream of paper is 500 sheets!! Rant over.

@jredmon My bad I had a typo, the IM C400SRF comes standard with a 550 Sheet paper tray. I changed it for everyone, however you are correct the IM C 300 (F) should come with a standard 550 sheet paper tray.

They do look like Ricoh, especially with the document feeder. I'm not 100% sure, but if I was asked to bet, I would put my bet that they are Ricoh manufactured

Re: Ricoh - IM C300(F) & IM C400(SR)F Spec Check Review
Other than physical size the only reason to buy an A4 MFP is price, ideally with a low cpc. To cut costs Ricoh should have went with an SSD and a 9" LCD. Do you really need stapling? Fax should be integrated into the motherboard. Very few customers scan to SD card.

This model would replace the MPC401 and 401SR......remember those? They are still in the lineup even though the model is over 4 years old.

Five Really Cool Features on the New Ricoh IM 7000 & IM 8000 MFPs I can't remember the last time I wrote one of these, it to be TBC (time before Covid). I think at this point in time we all need to be realize that we'll probably be placing less and less of these devices in the field. The longer larger businesses stay out of the office could ultimately spell the demise of our largest office style MFP's. In fact I could see a future of where they are made to order and the waiting time...
