The pirates are not "in cahoots with the leasing companies" they are subscribing to an SEC filling data service, like EDA Online. You can set up a notification when a new copier lease is filed with the SEC.

You would think after 50 plus years that the Toner Pirates would have disappeared my hearties. One of my clients was approached via voice mail today in a phone message that was translated to text.
