Ricoh gives more details on new division In May of 2023, Ricoh and Toshiba announced new joint venture which would make printers and MFPs for both brands The division will now be named “Etria Co. Ltd.” and manufacturing plant will be located in Yokomaam-shi, Kanagawa, Japan Ricoh owns 85% controlling interest of Etria Etria will be run by Katsunori Nakata, who is also SVP and GM of Ricoh’s Office Printing Group

TOKYO -- Ricoh will reduce its global workforce by about 2,000 people as it scales down the office machine business and focuses on assisting businesses with digital transition, the Japanese company said Thursday. Ricoh would sell more print hardware if they weren't so totally out of touch with the dealer community and the customers they serve.

@fisher They really don't seem to care. They push their money making A3 units (added the 70ppm model) but their A4 lineup has always been lacking. Lets not even get into their Wide Format decisions (or lack thereof.) Should we start a pool on when they will sell/merge?
