Hey Art! I started using Aweber email software about 5 months ago. I send out a monthly newsletter with a customized template. People read it! Best part is that you always stay top of mind with your prospects. I actually exported my contact list from my CRM software and imported that into Aweber. Currently have about 100 prospects and customers in my email list. It's great! Much cheaper than a mailer.

I'm not sure, because we're a Lanier Dealer, and it's a program that only certain dealers qualify for based on the # of B2C units historically placed per month. The program also requires that a certain # of B2C units be placed in Q4 to qualify past 2008 and thru Q1 2009. The $$ aren't huge, but my favorite part so far has been double Lanier Rewards (Aficio League) Points.

YTD 70% of my sales have been Net New vs 30% Upgrade. Q4 will have a lot of Upgrade, so it will probably end up being 50/50 for the year.

Art, you're right. National Azon is a great asset to us as reps to hit the AEC vertical. In addition they also sell just stand alone large format scanners. I worked with them (but didn't win) on an opportunity at a state archive for scanning super old documents. The rep was super helpful and if it weren't for a prior relationship we would have won.
