Famous former Xerox employee passes John Warnock passed away at age 82 While working at Xerox with Dr. Charles Geshke, invented InterPres printer language (aka PostScript), and failed to convince Xerox to market product He and Geshke left Xerox and renamed the product PostScript and founded Adobe Corp. in 1982 Also invented Adobe Illustrator graphic arts drawing program and PDF file format Born in Salt Lake City, Utah, and alumni from University of Utah
