Art, we've got a rep that covers York / Gettysburg and he confirmed this. He said he heard it went down ~ 6 months ago and they started reaching out to clients towards the end of 2019 to let them know. I don't know if there is a www.ricoh-south africa.com but at www.ricoh-usa.com you will find more than you probably care to read. FYI, Ricoh is about to install the first ever, 100% eco-powered billboard on Times Square New York...all power will come from solar and wind panals incorporated in the sign. Try looking at Doculex and others unless you are looking for something alot cheaper. If you do an internet search you get some hits also. If a customer could not be charged for unused clicks, all maintenance agreements would be cancellable upon request whether there was a lease involved or not. That being said, I wouldn't put anything past New York (or California for that matter). Some lease agreements have maintenance costs just "pass through" the leasing company. However, some dealers have been known to get their maintenance "pre-funded" by the lease agreement meaning the dealer excepts a discounted rate for the maintenance...
