Re: The Miracle of "Fuser Oil"
While it's properties can cause rubber to break down over time, I've used it for years on the exterior auto trim (black) and tires to get that wet look. People say it's a "not safe" use but I've had absolutely no trouble. Also good to rub down weathered paint on outdoor furniture and other painted surfaces (test first).

Re: competiton
Thanks Doc....you are right and that is what I do...but when both companies have to trim down there pricing in a bidding war when in front of a brand new client...Ricoh is the only one that wins from that. In the short run, it makes sense to try to get your product to as many vendors as possible, but it is biting the hand that feeds you. There is no loyalty in that and this is disappointing. Plus, when the competition finally gets a 240w of there own, I don't think they will push both: they...

Yes there is no PBM500 you get the 350 and the upgrade kit which consists of an additional circuit board that goes into the operation panel. What do you have on there for 11k just the saddle stitch part or do you have the face trim and book fold?

No I don't. Seems odd why it's not working for you. Here's the complete: The new, additional machine has been installed at the Liphook, Hampshire-based firm’s 743sqm premises in the past few months. Prior to taking delivery of the 18.9m/min device, Scott Labels was an entirely flexo operation, running a fleet that included two six-colour UV Focus Proflex flexo presses and a die-cutting machine used for plain labels. The Konica Minolta machine has enabled the six-staff company to...

Re: To Ricoh "What I Want for Christmas"
The best thing Ricoh could give us is advanced scanning functionality as a standard feature. To be able to navigate to whatever network folder a user wants would be huge, as would the ability to scan to Word or Excel. Canon already has these features, so we are at a huge price disadvantage if it is functionality a customer needs since we have to add ICE (which has a less-than-desirable UI) or NSI AutoStore.

In the early 2000s you could go into a Staples store and they would have commercial Canon copiers. It didn't last long.

Re: Muratec Label Press
MSRP of $18k, that makes $360 on a lease. Thus, you need to find someone outsourcing. After a little research, color labels that are 4x4 cost around 45 cents each. Thus someone outsourcing 800 labels or more can be a prospect for one of these devices.
