John, The PrintCopy Tool compares pretty favorably to Plotworks. I attached two documents to this post. The Product Support Guide lists differences between the two products. The PowerPoint has screen shots of all the settings in PrintCopy Tool. I hope this helps.

Re: 3 Ways Sales Professionals Nail New Sales Opportunities Using LinkedIn
nice job Larry. One thing I'm finding is that many of my first level contacts will have no clue about some of their connections. I have called and asked about other first level connections and most know recognize the name. I guess it's some type of Linkedin failure. Another item I've found about Linkedin is that many "C" level execs don't post their own threads. Someone in marketing is doing that for them. Linkedin is a great source for knowing who may or may not be connected to someone.

Re: MPS and Linux HELP!
So some clarification first. PaperCut absolutely does support Mac. In fact, it is the only cost recovery/print control solution that I know of that actually installs in an all Mac environment. (Server and Client) It also is the only solution I know of that installs in a Linux environment. So both of your issues are solved with PaperCut. I included the install guides for Mac and Linux to get you started.

I was in a small town last week at an six person Accountanting firm. They were using Cloud Computing for storage and document collaboration. They were concerned about the large amounts of paper documents that they had to store, retrieve and off site storage. They liked the ability to be at a clients office and pull up their files at the customer's location. They liked the ability to...

scanning is thru a network only. Why not use the Ethernet port, connect a WAP to the Ethernet port and then connect the WAP to the wireless network. WAP = Wireless Access Port. You can get a wireless switch to act as a WAP pretty cheap and don't have to run around in circles.

Canon's Cloud Portal - MEAP App allows you to connect a Canon ImageRUNNER-Advance to either GoogleDocs or MS Sharepoint Online. The MEAP App is free from Canon, and GoogleDocs will give you a free 1Gig of storage when you open a gmail account. The last time I checked a Terabyte of storage was ~ $250/year, which is pretty darn cheap. This allows you to Scan directly to GoogleDocs and Print Directly from GoogleDocs. You can even print MS Word, Excel, & Powerpoint docs that are stored on...

Re: Managed Services "Are You in or Out"!
I believe this is the future of our industry. Forget MPS, that's a failure. In the near future a single vendor will manage all of an office's computer hardware. From switches, routers, PCs, printers and MFPs. Its already heading that way. At the very least we all need to partner up with the best IT companies in our territories and work together and share leads. Remember the IT guy's opinion will almost always carry a ton of weight when the customer is choosing an MFP or vendor to connect...

I can also remember in the past the the SR5000 was needed in order to connect the BK5000 because I got burned on this when I did not read the release notes. There are no release notes next to the SR5020, so I would have to assume that all you need is the SR5020.

Why not store this as one whole document. I understand that certain sections need to be updated, but ... The 2090 Document Server has the Editor capability. Plus once you enter the settings for this entire job, they are kept, regardless of how you delete and add pages. But perhaps the greatest way to impact their productivity work flow would be to connect this system.
