Due to image quality, is recommended for transactional, transpromotional and direct mail applications.....Reminds me when I used to sell Riso and we made this disclaimer!!...Not great copy quality but if you are wanting something that is cheap and fast, we have it for you!!

Very curious if this will fly, I'm concerned over how long it took to launch and if there were issues of some sort. We are a Kyocera dealer so we will be hearing more about it soon.

Re: Need HELP! Kyocera Color A3 question

dimaxusa ·
Top three points I make when against Kyocera. #1. Take them color samples from your device and any Kyocera because the color output is sub par on all units. If you don’t have access to one look in your crm for an account you co-exist with Kyocera in. Or the next time you have a knock out make some samples and keep them in a binder. If color quality is important to the customer it will be a win. Another point is showing them you get what you pay for, meaning 3 tier color is what they have...

John-Austin Shepard ·
Art, we've got a rep that covers York / Gettysburg and he confirmed this. He said he heard it went down ~ 6 months ago and they started reaching out to clients towards the end of 2019 to let them know. Gonna be a big change as Quality had a lot of loyal clients (also were giving away service at rates like .003 & .032- > I've gotta imagine that'll change quickly)

Yes I have sold a couple of these. For the price these are fantastic. My service manager is impressed which is hard to do. Dual side scanning is a definite selling point. The cost per page is going to be higher of course. I would say in the .015 black and white and .11 color to be safe (depending on your market of course). Not as good as say the 6535 per say but the machine is less than half the cost. If the run more than a couple thousand a month I would move them up to the 6535cidn. Let me...

I havn't seen one placement of the frontier in my territory yet. But that doesn't mean they aren't out there. I see the whole copier industry making a shift to A$ devices in the next 24 months or less, they have too. Price is the driving factor, I've heard it all about A4's, such as "A4's can't hold up to heavy volume", oh yea then why do I see laser printers with hundreds of thousands of prints on them and they weigh under 100lbs? Heck, I just came from an account that has 180K on a Ricoh...

the turn out was fantastic! There were more than 30 vendors and no vendors that were addressing managing the print stream. I had the chance to sit next to Jim D from Muratec while we listened to Nori from Kyocera. At the end od the keynote speech, we were asked if we had any questions. Jim D from Muratec asked itf Kyocera was buying Sharp! It brought a great roar from the crowd and Nori only stated "that's the rumor" and he chuckled and said nothing more. From: Lee Sent: 3/10/2002 6:37 PM The rumor mill says that the replacements will be here 90~120 days from now, a 60 and a 70. The rumor mill also says that they will be using the GW architecture of the 10 series. This should bring scanning, Desktop Binder etc. to the faster machines. Since they will have an integrated controller, they won't be able to put Fiery's on them like they have the 551/700.

I do not have any in the field that are connected to the 1105 or 1085. However I have three in the field that are the "stand alone systems" and they work great! Also I had the opportunity to see the SR90 today at Ricoh Corp in NJ. It looks great and works great. All saddle stitching can be selected from the op screen. Signature, Directory and Legal folder worked good for the few booklets that I made. Rumor has it that the puncher will be available soon!

Since we are a Canon Dealer also, I checked with our DSM for Canon and no they are not being discontinued. There are over 60,000 on backorder, and they are producing them as fast as they can. What we are being told is that it may take 30-60 days to get one. That is probably where the rumor started. Also, I checked with our tech that just returned from 3200 school two weeks ago, and nothing was mentioned in school from a tech standpoint about the color registration not being great, or the...

Jayson has it right, we will have a 50ppm copier/printer from Toshiba and a new 32 and 28 ppm copier/printer (ricoh OEM) with saddle stitcher. Rumor has it Ricoh is going to drop the 1224 and 1232 from the line up as soon as inventory has been depleted. This is due to the excessive cycling of the equipment (there is no fix).

RUMOR has it that Ricoh will change the name of the company to IKON Americas Corporation, effective August 1, 2009. RBS will fold into IKON, with several offices closing across the country. This new IKON direct organization will be the only distribution channel selling 'Ricoh' brand products, while the remaining "strong" Independent Dealers can sell Lanier and Savin (for a limited time) at an approximate 20% higher price than IKON will enjoy. RFG Dual Line Dealers will be requested to drop...

A Sharp P4P'er PM'd me this today (alot of stuff here from a tech MB) There had been rumors circulating that Panasonic was in dire straits. Ricoh is going to relabel the Toshiba 31 ppm color for our graphics color system, PERIOD. It is going to be the new 31 which will replace their current 30 ppm color system with improvements. And the new 2232 2238 are coming and will address the calibration problem on the 1224 1232, which occurs every 50 copies/prints. Additionally, they will provide network connectivity like the 2022 2027 which does not require scanrouter. This will give us seg 3 color. I also heard a rumor that we may see a...
