Canada charges a 270% tariff because the US has a massive over supply of milk production. If US dairy product was to enter Canada without tariffs it would destroy our perfectly working dairy industry. Why should the USA be allowed to destroy our milk industry so as to partially solve a problem created within the USA? Besides, how do you think Canada maintains its "free" single payer health care system. It is by charging high taxes on all consumer purchases. I do not think that anybody thinks...

I've got a great idea! Why don't we package all these copier leases together, then divide them into thousands of "shares" that anyone can purchase? Eventually the demand for our high-paying financial instrument will exceed our supply, but we can always supplement that by offering leases to people who wouldn't normally qualify.

In my marketplace, the used A3 market (especially Colour)is still able to displace new A4 products at the same price. Colour quality and reliability has improved a lot over the last few years, so even a one generation old colour copier is very much in demand. The marketplace has a strong demand for colour that for me now exceeds black. Of course, this is not great new for new A3 sales. Customers who have an A3, generally want to stick with an A3 replacement copier. A4 products are sold with...

The Ricohs have been slow sellers is not because of end user needs or wants. Basically ours is a quota/revenue driven business from the top to the bottom. The preferred compensation model for commissions is that of a revenue based plan with commissions. Why have a GP driven comp plan for your sales people when your Dealership or Branch has a revenue based quota plan from the manufacturers? It just doesn't make sense. in reference to the supply and demand issue; it's not that their is a "shortage", it's that because other nations such as India and China (both will near or over 1 billion citizens) are now industrializing and with that comes not only the usage of oil based products, but also brings more prosperity to those citizens and their needs and wants for items that either use gas or are petroleum based. Because of all of this we have more companies and more people buying the oil and because of the...
