Way back in 1988-89. Before the CF70, this Konica had an LED based engine - color copy only. Cant remember the model number....

Back in my days as a technician we had two of those in the field. I forget the model number though. First color machine I ever worked on. Incredibly slow and I remember on service calls just getting a test print out so you could check your work took forever. Also the worst toner spill I ever encountered was a cyan explosion inside one of these.

How did you do for third quarter of 2022? Did you hit or exceed your revenue budget this month? Yay, I got it, not by much but got it done, how about you?

One of members emailed me an interesting proposal that brings back memories of the 3-5 days. Basically it meant the client would sign a 60 month lease and that included service and supplies. At the end of 36 month the service and supplies would end. Thus the clients costs rose substantially, and most of those clients were not aware of the tremendous increase at month 37 of the lease. I've asked or permission to post here, hoping I can get that for everyone

it still amazes me than all printer manufacturers will not mention the yield of the drum, fuser nor transfer belts for color and black printers

They should get out of servicing and sell that to someone.

Everywhere I run into Xerox the customer hates their service and the downtime.

I hear the same thing. Always broken and very poor service. Ricoh could gain an impressive footprint if they could take over and replace assets as they go.

I hear the same as well with SMB, however not the same with production
