Re: Post-Virus We Must Defeat The Zombie Companies!
Although I am 60% on board with your move to A4 strategy, most of the rest of the stuff you are posting is "knocking it out of the park"! I would like to see a poll. As a business owner, during COVID-19 would you prefer? 1). No lease payments for 90 days 2). 1/2 price lease payments for one year The auto industry is pushing no payments for 90 days but I think business owners are more concerned about cash flow for the next year. I think the correct strategy is to offer as part of your...

Re: top challenges faced by sales reps on a day to day basis
Wow. No poll answer regarding the rep’s activity…interesting. Over the years I have learned that if you work hard and SMART, you’ll hit your numbers. I also think that there is a condition that affects a lot of sales reps in virtually all industries. It is a type of an iron deficiency disorder. It is when iron in your blood is transformed into lead that forms in your rear end. If someone bounces from dealership to dealership and never finds success it is most likely them. If they’ve had...

I did not put an option for reps activity, because I believe most of the members here are true professionals and we understand how important it is to complete those activity goals for the week, month or quarter. Re: Lease Approvals
I thought we had a thread similar to this and maybe even a poll. I would say that 90% of my deals are getting approved by the likes of GE, DLL, Great America, etc, however I am pre-screening customers now and not even taking apps from some, due to thier industry and or financial status. Some have bought and others have tried elsewhere, thus the reason my approval rate is high is because of the pre-screening and I believe would be far lower than 90%.

Being introduced in NJ. I'm going to get a copy of the bill to see who is responsible. I would say that the leasing company owns the machine and it should be there's (my opinion), however will it fall to the end user? Probabaly, would be a good question for a poll though. Art

Re: 1060 v Minolta Di551/Konica 7155 need help!
We are a Konica and Ricoh dealer and I am familiar with both products (moreso the Ricoh). They are both good machines, but the 1060 software is far better in most respects: Scanning Konica scans to the hard drive on the controller and then you retrieve it from the "box" with a piece of software called ScanTrip, 25.00 per seat. You have to know which box to pull the scan from. It's what I would call pull scanning. ScanTrip can be set to poll the machine periodicaly to see if there is anything...

Re: Political Speeches
I guess it is not totally unfounded to blame the President for Iraq but the decision was supported by Congress and the American People at the time. As far as the decision to stay, even the Democrats are backing off discussions of immediate withdrawal. Most Americans do not support the Cut-and-Run approach. I also don't feel that "most Americans" are against "water boarding" or Warrantless wiretaps of terrorists. If you choose to believe the polls, keep in mind how easy it is to push an...

Re: DLL to raise rates
I would have to say that we have not seen any difference yet. However a mortagage broker who has paid every payment on time asked for a buyout from Marlin Leasing. Marling forwarded the buyout to us and then informed us that they would not take this business at all. Personally I have stayed away from Title, and Mortgage business for the last eight months. Usually it will be blurred in with their total acquisition/divestiture activity, which should be considerable. The purchase price is now "known" on the street, and it's enough to say that the poll above picked the best of the available answers, though several additional higher options would have been helpful.

Re: What Is The Real Reason...
It couldn't be that the "normal" retirement age for men in Japan is 60, and that Mr. Yoshida is now past that age? I base this on the fact that his bio shows him joining Ricoh in 1967 with a bachelor's degree, so I assume he was at least 21 at the time, giving him a "born on" date of 1946 or earlier. I realize that doesn't fit with the "boogey man" choices in the poll... sorry to be a buzz killer.
