Re: COVID19 "Remote Working" Day Forty-Three of Sales

I just created my own YouTube channel doing product videos with future ones planned mostly focussed on MS365. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_OotckdOtEg ... and I am working Linkedin a lot more in different ways. Most of the people I know say they have never gotten a lead from Linkedin. They think of this site as a static business card talking about who they are and not what they can do for the customer. They never post to Linkedin. Like most things, Linkedin requires almost daily work to...

SSG that's an awesome video! You can send links to clients, and direct them to your channel. It's a virtual demo that keeps on giving. Kudos I have some of the same issues with getting appointments through Linkedin, however I know of several peeps that use Linkedin as their only source for prospecting and they are doing well. I will keep working it since I have a Navigator account now

COVID19 "Remote Working" Day Forty-Three of Sales

Art Post ·
This is the first night since I started writing this blog series that I wasn't sure what I was going to write about. After 43 days of writing how much more can you cover or how much more content can you provide for other peeps with help they might need. Tonight I'd like to cover a few things I've been doing everyday other than taking the occasional break and lunch. Many weeks ago I learned that I can't work with the TV on in my office. It's too distracting especially when I have the news on...

COVID19 "Remote Working" Day Eighty-Three of Sales

Only 5 more days for four full months of selling days that I've been working remote. You may have noticed that I've been skipping a couple of days here and there with blogging on this series. I had no idea that Covid19 would last in to the summer and usually my summers mean less posting of blogs and more time spent enjoying the great weather. Just a short recap for Friday. I was able to secure two orders for two net new companies. However the revenue fell short of what I was hoping for. With...

Always motivating to read your posts Art and to appreciate the grind. We're all in it together, the way things look now, for a while longer yet. 200 miles is a good bit of distance for two appointments, I bet you're wishing you had some time or it was socially acceptable for some cold/warm calls in between! Don't let the blog rule you, enjoy the weather and what helps keep you calm! Have a great rest of your week!

COVID19 "Remote Working" Day Ninety-Three of Sales

COVID19 "Remote Working" Day Ninety-Three of Sales It's just about 10PM in New Jersey, and the temperature is still about 90 degrees. The last few days have been hot, humid and terrible to be outside unless you're planning a visit to the beach. COVID19 in New Jersey? Not much has changed since I gave my last update. We're in some type of holding pattern from the onset of Phase 2. The curve in New Jersey has been crushed for months now, the line is flat and yet our Governor keeps his foot on...

COVID19 Remote Working Day One Hundred and Fifty-Three of Selling

WooHoo! One more day we'll be at the seven month mark for working remote or least I will be. Am I happy? Not really because going we're now into the last two months of the fiscal year. In previous years you could do the research on your clients and pick those that you wanted to pay a visit to. In most cases these were the clients that you have the best relationships with. With most businesses not being in the office or sparsely populated in New Jersey that may not work this year. I guess the...

COVID19 Remote Working Day One Hundred and Sixty-Three of Selling

COVID19 Remote Working Day One Hundred and Sixty-Three of Selling Copiers It's been four business day since my last blog. I've been busy but took the time off last night to watch/listen to the returns from the election. Can 2020 get any crazier? At this point I don't care who wins and I hope if it's the other guy that he does n't make things worse. I guess from a conservative point of view I'm happy that the Senate is still intact. I've been able to secure two orders in the last four days,...

COVID19 Remote Working Day One Hundred and Sixty-Six of Selling

What can I say there really hasn't been that much to write about the last three days. I think as I get closer and closer to the end of the year these blogs may slow down even more. All depends if I can pack a few solid orders away there will be much to write about. November 9th and we had a 75 degree sunny day here in NJ. How many more of these days can we get? Anyway it's a pleasure to enjoy and spring can't come soon enough. New Jersey retreated on some openings today. Technically we are...

COVID19 Remote Working Day Two Hundred and Fifty-Three of Selling

Art Post ·
My day started kinda slow with our weekly virtual sales meeting with the team. After that it was time to make the rounds with calls and emails to move some opportunities closer to the finish line. In the end I was able to get one opportunity closer to the ordering process and the rest of the calls and emails seems to have fallen on deaf ears today. Yes with five selling days left the thought of pulling a zero is weighing on me. My afternoon was supposed to be dedicated to calls and emails...
